TRENDS - 2009-06-07 - An Abandoned Symbol of Detroit's Better DaysNational Public Radio (NPR) posted a report on Detroit’s Michigan Central Station which fell on hard times years before the 2009 bankruptcies of Chrysler and General Motors.  At this point, it appears unlikely that the structure, which was built in 1913, will be around in 2013.  Listen to the NPR story and see a slide show at http://bit.ly/xPhI5 .
